Follow-up Comment #44, bug #57635 (project octave): I downloaded qt-everywhere-src-5.12.8.tar.xz. In order not to jam my system installation, I built Qt with the parameter ./configure --prefix=/home/myuser/QTx gmake and installed it locally. Then I adjusted export PKG_CONFIG_PATH="/home/myuser/QTx/lib/pkgconfig" to point Octave to the locally installed Qt and built Octave against Qt 5.12.8. So here we have it: Problem disappears when I run ./run-octave --gui Also the ctrl-xyz short cut feature problem dissapears. Now it could still be a problem with the pre-built Qt that comes with the distro, but I think this likelihood is pretty small. @Torsten: What was the test procedure? I.e. where did you click? Did you remove only *one* proxy or both? _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?57635> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
