Follow-up Comment #24, bug #59203 (project octave):

My company's network is down this morning (was already wonky all day
yesterday) so I can have a look now.

The patch look good, nice. 
The only thing is that I'd prefer to leave tidyxml.m in the package for now,
w/o being called from any of the spreadsheet functions. It offers a way to
interpret raw XML, which may come in handy in some cases.

I'm crossbuilding a new dev version and in the meantime a dev windows package
("1.5.1') + io-2.6.2, once done I'll do some testing and if all is well, push
and make a io-2.6.2 release.
No idea if I'll have time for all that today, we'll see.
