Follow-up Comment #28, bug #59277 (project octave): Thank you for the checks :-) Yes I hope to release io-2.6.3 very soon. The wait is for (temporary) JSON I/O I'd like to include (patch #9980). Hopefully that'll happen soon. In fact I'd like to have io-2.6.3 in the mxe-octave installers for upcoming Octave-6.1 to avoid Windows users having to live with a slightly buggy io package version until Octave-7.1 happens.
