Details:

This has been so for a long time, I have no idea if this is a bug or not. But
it is at least unexpected behavior:

In the GUI, open documentation pane.
Click on tab "Function index".
Enter e.g., "inputdlg"  (obviously w/o double quotes)
==> A line appears with 'inputdlg'; fine
Double-click on that line
==> Nothing happens.  I'd expect the paragraph about 'ínputdlg' to appear in
the right subpane, but no joy.

It does work fine in the "Search" tab. Entering 'inputdlg' gives a collection
clickable results that lead one to the respective paragraphs.
