Regarding comment #7: "Are you seeing a list of functions in the function
index tab and the table of contents in the contents tab?"
Using MS Windows 10 Home (2004) Octave 6.0.92 (RC2) -- Yes. But the OP is
right, clicking on anything in the "function index" tab does not open
anything, while the "contents" tab works.
Using OpenSUSE 15.2 custom build of stable, all works as expected.
