Follow-up Comment #14, bug #59426 (project octave):

Maybe related:

On Windows I see similar things, see attached pic of a crossbuild from Nov 9
(top) and one from Nov 22 (below):
the workspace pane is much wider; the command pane background setting
(yellowish) is ignored; and the command line font is significantly smaller.
Making the latter bigger helps but then the history pane font gets
unreasonably large as well.

Looks like the qt-settings file was reorganized?

I've not tried the patch from comment #13 yet, I'll see if I can build
tonight, or I might try a nightly tomorrow.
