Follow-up Comment #10, bug #60472 (project octave):

@siko1056, thanks, I think I had picked up on most of that. 

I guess if anything is to be considered a bug for fixing prior to a v7
(assuming there's a bugfix release at some point), it's the fact that a
-global or -local command creates a persistent prefix change. It seems like
the change should just be specific to that single function call. But, with the
way it processes -global/-local options first and then processes commands,
there's no code block at the end to revert back to the 'normal' state, and I'm
not sure if it would be feasible (or worthwhile) to just stick that on the
end.
