Follow-up Comment #5, bug #61996 (project octave):

@Philip: I was referring to the fact that the references except for the widget
geometry weren't saved at all. On Linux, the file browser column sizes are
restored as expected. The same holds for the vertical borders.

Is the mru list of the file browser's directories is restored at the next
startup? This, e,g, wasn't the case before the two patches. 

And regarding the columns width, are the shown columns themselves restored?
