[Octave-bug-tracker] [bug #50692] Command Window outputs spurious newline every 30 sec.

Follow-up Comment #31, bug #50692 (project octave):

Commenter #24, 27, 28, 29, and 30 here.

I had Octave open for 1.5 days without seeing any spurious newlines in the
command window. During that time I entered various equations in the command
window. Then, just now, I opened the editor, typed up a 5 line script and
pressed the "Save file and run" icon. I'm now getting the newlines in the
command window again! In fact the result of my script has already scrolled up
out of view in the time for me to write this update.
