Follow-up Comment #67, bug #66882 (group octave):

Deleting the generic function causes a bunch of compilation errors (attached)
essentially that it cannot convert F77_DBLE_CMPLX to the appropriate version
but is trying to convert to type double and failing.

Should we use std::Complex instead of F77_DBLE_CMPLX?
