Somewhere in the php scripts, it's a html encoding and one maybe needs a
+ or related.

For XHTML there's a verifier at www.w3.org which tells you wheter a given
URL yields valid data. For anybrowser, there are some other guidelines one's 
got to meet. I don't know the exact requirements but it shouldn't be hard to
find out.
