Follow-up Comment #1, patch #5562 (project pspp):

I'm OK with this in principle given that (as you say) you recognize that the
naming can be improved.  I'm too tired at the moment to try to invent good
ones right now.

One thing I want to improve in our error reporting is to do something like
GCC does where it explains the series of files that were included to arrive
at the current line.  I don't expect you to add that in this patch, but I
think that it's a good idea...
