If you allow Xresources support in, you gotta let in GNU readline too.
Once started down the slippery path of bloat...

To avoid bloat, let the config file syntax (if we ever get one) be
each line is the same as one C-t: command.  Simple as that.  Less than
10 lines of code to open file, read in each line, shove it to exec parser,
&c.

OTHER X apps have Xresources; we can avoid that bloat.
