Hi Nicolas,

Do you mean that whenever ratpoison tries to maximize the xine window,
xine resizes it back to the size it wants which makes ratpoison
maximize it again producing a flickery effect?

If so it sounds like xine is resizing the window after it gets a
resize event which the ICCCM very clearly prohibits.

But, I just tried:

This is xine (X11 gui) - a free video player v0.9.23.
(c) 2000-2003 The xine Team.

installed from a Debian pkg and had no problems with ratpoison from
CVS. What versions are you running?
