I now see the raw XML tree on both machines with Iceweasel 2.0.0.x.

(By the way, I hope that we're not annoying people who just want
to talk about Texinfo on bug-texinfo.  I would have taken this to
private email some time ago, but your Mail-Followup-To header is
quite explicit.)
