They are mostly orthogonal to code acceptance issues.  If people tell
you what problems keep your code from being mergeable, there is little
point in gathering street support rather than addressing the issues.

If you'd rather not have other Emacs developers' time wasted, there are
a few thread topics you could killfile, as your participance is not
likely improving the balance.
