Just to clarify: MSYS2 dropped 32bit support for the POSIX packages,
because Cygwin (which is its upstream project) did so. But MSYS2 still
builds and distributes MinGW-w64 32 bit packages, and AFAIK the plan is
to keep doing that for the foreseeable future.
