What kind of reasoning is that?  It's done, so your opinion doesn't count?  
The "reality of the situation" is that munging causes problems that you 
cannot work around, yet not munging does not.

Personally, I used to send email with the Reply-To header set quite a bit.  
Any munging would mean that I'd never recieve off-list replies.  Go ahead, do 
it for a dead list, but please don't do it for an active one.
