Before we get _too_ excited:
a) the semantics of this need to be spelled out. For example,
if given `--log-header standard-date=XXXXXX', what kind of
parsing and validation should happen for XXXXXX? What about
`--log-header New-files=YYYYY'?
b) anyway: is someone volunteering to write the code?
