Schemas express structure, not semantics.  For many purposes, that's
adequate.  xmldiff doesn't need to know what an XHTML <body> is, it just
needs to know that there can only be one.

Anyhow, my take is this: it's outside the domain of Arch.  If someone
implements a tool that supports the same functionality as diff/patch,
but for a wider array of file types, Arch can make use of it as a
drop-in replacement.
