As an Emacs bigot, this sounds very good, believe me.
But I think we need to distinguish between
- easy to do with external scripting tools
- supported by default
"by default" does not mean "in C". I guess what I'm saying is that tla
should be mostly written in a scripting language on top of a C library,
just like Emacs ;-)
