I have Borland C++ on my machine. But I've cygwin before Borland in the PATH. And I never use make in Borland. So that is not a problem.

Hi, Evan:

  i download/installed cygwin, i can run shells/diff
etc.

but when i try to run 'make all_batches' from inside
the cygwin environment, i got problems:

  MAKE version 3.7, Borland International
Fatal: 'all_batches' not exist, don't know how to
make it.

i guess this is because i have Borland C++4.5
installed on my system.

  any advices?

  thanks for your reply.

kevin.
