To avoid caching, we in Badajoz put
<meta http-equiv="expires" content="-1" />
<meta http-equiv= "pragma" content="no-cache" />
at the HTML headers. This way you point to an URL in the browser and
you are viewing an updated page for sure. I don't know how standard is
it, but it works.
