No, I'm looking on the docs that are built on my local system. I use both
the Notation Reference and the Contributor's Guide. I don't want (and
shouldn't have) to go to two different places. One comfy home for documents
should be good for me.

Oh -- I just looked at the devel page more clearly. OK, it might be usable.

Then let me suggest some changes to the Development page. My objective is
to be able to click to all the manuals from one page without having to
scroll.

I would prefer to have the manuals grouped by type, instead of by Manual

Split HTML:
Notation
Usage
Snippets
Extending
Internals
Contributor's (maybe, or maybe not).
Learning
Glossary
Essay
Web
Changes

(I don't really care if we have Glossary, Essay, Web, or Changes, because I
never use them as a developer, but I'm fine to have them.)

One Big Page HTML:
Notation
Usage
Snippets
Extending
Internals
Contributor's
Learning
Glossary
Essay
Web
Changes

PDF:
Notation
Usage
Snippets
Extending
Internals
Contributor's
Learning
Glossary
Essay
Web
Changes

I would also prefer to have Manuals at the top and Downloading at the
bottom.

I would prefer to see the "Read it" section eliminated and have the "All
formats" heading changed to "Read it"

I would like to see the left hand and right hand sides of the page switched.

I would like to have the Download section below the Manual section.
Actually, perhaps I'd even prefer it to be below the Contributor's Guide
section.

If we added Contributor's to all of the Manual sections, we could save space
by eliminating the "All formats" section, and move Download into that space.

A perfect page for me would have all of the manuals easily available in
split HTML format once I get to that page.

I think new contributors need to see the Contributor's Guide section,
followed by Downloads (so they can get the current binary if they're just
doing doc work).

I don't know if any of this is possible, but if it is, it would make my life
easier.

Thanks,

Carl
