because i have 0 experience with blogging and webhosting and i didn't
want to spend a lot of time setting things up :)
wordpress.com seemed reasonable, and i hope it would be easy to move
if necessary. The most important thing is to start the blog going.

I hope so. It appears to be a major blogging platform.

That's nice! We should definitely contact them one things settle down.

Sounds good, but it should probably be done by someone who has nonzero
experience in these things (i.e. not me :P)
Anyway, our brand new blog is now available at
lilypondblog.wordpress.com, but quite probably this will be a
temporary address. In the future, i'd really like to move the blog to
our website (so that it would be completely under our control, and
accessible through blog.lilypond.org or something) - but someone would
have to help me with this task. Meanwhile i'll just continue writing
posts (and i invite you to join me!)
best,
Janek
