Sorry, I was pointing a few lines up when I typed "these calls" but of course 
you can't see that.  That second sentence should be :

The path that generates the calls with start=0 end=100000 and with start=0 
end=2^31, however, bypasses the cache, and causes repeated generation of the 
skyline.
