On my Fedora 8 system it works fine. But on my Kubuntu 8 system if I
build the user guide like this:

    % lout -r6 all > guide.ps

prg2lout _always_ crashes on the 5th run at the same place.

But if I do this:

    % lout -r4 all > guide.ps
    % lout -r2 all > guide.ps

It works fine.
(In both cases starting from clean, i.e., no .ld files.)

Unfortunately Kubuntu will not give me a core dump! They seem to have
fiddled with the kernel so that it will produce a "nice" Windows-like
message box (which it never does). I have:

    % ulimit -c
    unlimited

I have also tried with apport on and with it off. I search for the core
file in /home/mark, /tmp, and /var/crash and there isn't one in any of
them.

If anyone knows how I can get a core dump on Kubuntu I'd be grateful to
know!
