Follow-up Comment #127, bug #54235 (project octave): I think the next step should be to try and move up to gcc 5. I believe this stands a chance of fixing the problem in pr-output.cc that still requires applying abs.diff to the source tree each time. Moving to gcc 5 is more of a Solaris / packaging activity.
