Follow-up Comment #4, bug #58082 (project octave): AFAIR I didn't hit this issue when I installed Octave-5.2.0 using that same installer downloaded from the ftp site, back in mid-February. Octave-5.2.0 for Windows has been downloaded and used quite a bit already, as judged by the "Release" tag contents in many bug reports since then. Til now we hadn't seen this issue being reported so although I don't doubt your observations I'm inclined to suspect it's rather some local issue. (Wild guess) could there be an Octave-6.0.0 somewhere in your path that fools the installer? Did you see a message somewhere along the lines of "running post-install tasks"? It's the very last line in post-install.bat where the "pkg rebuild" command is issued in case of Octave < 6. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?58082> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
