Follow-up Comment #20, bug #61172 (project octave): I also see the problem with the following sequence of events: * start Octave in a two monitor configuration * maximize Octave's main window * exit Octave * start Octave -> no title bar * exit Octave * disconnect second monitor * start Octave -> main window is maximized with no title bar (?!?) OR (fewer steps) * start Octave in two monitor configuration * maximize Octave's main window * exit Octave * disconnect second monitor * start Octave -> main window is maximized with no title bar (?!?) I will also note that when Octave is in this state, the keyboard shortcuts to maximize and restore a window do not work (for me, these are the windows key + up/down arrows). They do work when Octave is not in this strange state. So it's as if Octave is not even properly managed by the window manager when it starts in this state.
