Follow-up Comment #38, bug #61172 (project octave):

I myself, as a two-monitor user, would prefer to have the GUI always start on
the first screen (if closed with maximized windows last time), and not have it
start in this weired full screen mode any more. This gives me at least the
possibility to move the GUI window around to another position.
