Follow-up Comment #25, bug #63791 (project octave): @Liang: Thank you for testing. I will commit this change since it seems helpful in the short run. Performance issues with the parallel package should be the subject of a separate bug report. I don't use that package, but I know it used to rely on forking new processes which may not work as well on Windows as it does on a UNIX-like operating system such as Linux or Mac OS. I think there is still another detail to investigate because switching to single data class should have decreased memory consumption by 1/2.
