Hi,

There is already a software suspend project for Linux. The page is hosted at 
http://sourceforge.net/projects/swsusp.
Anyway, although I am not a plex86 developer, this idea escapes from the 
original one, that is, emulating some another operating system. The other OS 
should have software suspend capabilities too, but even if this feature 
should be implemented in another one, the OS will be running in native mode.
There is no more emulation in this scene, and you lost a lot of interesting 
features.
Also, there should be a common shared memory (maybe a hard disk partition) 
between the operating systems, in order to allow one to restore the another's 
context.
