Nope. only the antirodent WM... I'm using the standard xterm that came
with redhat 6.2. For reference, I have a dual celeron machine, in case
SMP is the cause of this rpoblem...

Dunno. A 1280x10245 res on a 17" monitor makes one pixel thingies hard
to see.
Question about that:
Why, then, if I push C-q C-w while a terminal is open, does it show that,
but then if you close it before the task bar thingy at the top closes,
then the task bar thingy turns to a [roughly] 20-30 pixel wide bar?

Well, I _do_ have xterm, and it does work in any WM...
