Would you be willing to be a "Free Software Users Group" instead of a
"Linux Users Group" ?

Linux is just one program (very important, yes, but only the kernel).
We need to raise the awareness about Free Software.

I guess that when you hold your meetings you talk about Apache, Perl,
GNU, Xfree86, and none of those are Linux.
