The gnats database is already rsync'ed from Red Hat.

If you need to mangle the email aliases, do it at:

fencepost:/com/mailer/aliases

Also read the instruction on the beginning of the file:


$ more /com/mailer/aliases
# (Instructions last changed 2001-06-29)
#
# This is the alias file for the FSF machines.
# PLEASE:
#     1) always edit this file under the name `/com/mailer/aliases' and
