Hi Axel, thanks for getting back to me.

The reason I'm a bit anxious about this is that I'm committing to a new design 
on Monday and it looks like the ATMega128RFA1 is the best choice, but only if 
uracoli works. I am doomed to failure without uracoli ;-) 
All I need to know to not worry all weekend is to know if uracoli works OK on 
this chip?

currently I'm on vacation and away from my JTAG ICE :-), I will 
have a look at this next week. Meanwhile you could try the CVS-HEAD.

The reset value of the internal prescaler of the mega128rfa1 provides that the 
clock is divided by two, so it starts with 8MHz.

So, I will start in the beginning of next week with looking at this.
