Be sure to have a copyright assignment on file with RedHat. I mention
this because the ancient past was a little fast-and-loose in this
regard.

You'll need to rebuild most of the tool chain, as many tools allocate
static buffers based on PATH_MAX, or MAXPATHLEN.

If libc is updated (and it will need to be win98/winme runtime
compatible forward compatible) then the maintainers will probably be
quite happy to re-build their packages.

Does it? Thats a pleasant surprise :0. What OS is that on (NT4? 2K ?)
