Because it's *not* the exact same service, at least if it really is
fish.

The first time I ever ran into fish (and I *think* the first time it
ever existed) is when it was initially implemented by Alexander Lukyanov
for lftp in July of 2001. fish, as Alexander created it, does not use
the sftp ssh subsystem, and so is not sftp.

Good enough reason for you?
