No special drivers are required.  You simply create a new dial up
connection; select direct cable connection between two computers; then,
under networking, select SLIP as the type of dial-up server.  I've had PPP
connections over a serial line between a Windows box and a Linux box with no
particular problems so I assume using SLIP would be equally straightforward.

The actual dialog navigation to achieve this varies between the various
flavours of Windows.  I'd recommend using Win2K, though I believe it can be
done with all versions.
