For all of these you also need to consider whether the database is
going to be locked.  If you're running this trigger out of a server
db, it may be better to invoke an action that pulls into a client db
and updates the workspace from there.

These hooks were put in place originally to support that kind of
workflow, to update a client database being used by viewmtn.
