As it turns out I still get those messages with current cvs code. After
detecting that I ran diff on the two relevant directories here and
noticed you actually seemed to fix another bug than mine, though very
similar.

Apart from in new_window() the same thing also has to be done in
map_window().

Although you might want to use the new show_rudeness_raise_msg()
function instead.

Bottom line, bug still exist - but should be easy to fix with this
information.
