    That's true, that technical information that only concerns people who used
    subversions before Savannah has been left out of the Savannah pages to keep=
     it
    simple for all other users.

Maybe it would be a good idea to add a note mentioning that there are
some special considerations for people who were using subversions
before that time, with a link to another page with the relevant info.

    The problem is that the pserver method does not allow us to control which
    users can change what.

If there are a few projects that have an alternate access route
to their repositories, is it possible to set up something for
those few projects so that both access routes report their check-ins?

Or could we run diffmon for Emacs?
