Absolutely: it should be relatively easy to modify printer.gen.cc so
that it produces a DVI file. This would be a *very* valuable contribution,
because many users ask for it. Nirmal Govind <address@hidden> promised
me to deal with this issue, but he does not seem to have time now (until
summer at least). So if you have some days left to hack, this would be
a great thing to do.
