It's not out of the question, but I don't see that it is worth doing.
What is the point?

To verify that the license is free and to avoid adding programs with
nonfree software dependencies by mistake (as Adonay pointed out earlier).

I came up with a much better solution. We can add sections to the OS pages for single-platform free software. Example: If you now click on OnionBrower at https://directory.fsf.org/wiki/Collection:IOS#Free_programs you will come to https://directory.fsf.org/wiki/Collection:IOS#OnionBrowser where the license is verified

Should I apply this solution for all single-plaform free programs listed in the OS pages at https://directory.fsf.org/wiki/Free_Software_Directory:Free_software_replacements#Operating_systems ?
