Seems reasonable to me.  I think we should also link back to an FSF copy,
which we don't currently do.  Has anyone new points for this debate or
spotted a major reason for keeping 0/1/2/3 that I've overlooked?

I suspect the numbers starts at 0 because lisp lists are numbered from 0,
but I've not checked that.
