Seems reasonable to me. I think we should also link back to an FSF copy,
which we don't currently do. Has anyone new points for this debate or
spotted a major reason for keeping 0/1/2/3 that I've overlooked?
Well, '(wo)man on the street already speaks in terms of 'A: drive', 'D: drive' or Excel this Doc document that...... I have come across complete beginners who know 'which 'dll' to replace if what virus strikes'!

So do we hav to patronize them as if they cannot count?

Starting at zero is a different point of view and could be helpful in catching some attention before going on about sotware patenting issues.

Further, is it not that the zeroth freedom stands out in that it is applicable to everyone, even the '(wo)man in the street'? ...as unusual in software terms as much as it is unusual for one to count starting at zero.

Best wishes
