I think that's a good idea.  I didn't say anything before because the
Stanford suite (IIRC) only provided encryption for the authentication
stage, and so was almost immediately obsoleted by ssh and SSL anyway.
So I figured it was just me.  But as Thomas points out, there is an
sftp registered with the IANA (at port 115).
