I reran it as:

radctl reload && radauth user pass

and it successfully authenticated my command line test.

I ran it 4 times in a row and can't get the start of the reload to the
auth OK to take more than 1 sec.

What are you authenticating off of? system passwd file/mysql/pgsql/really
large users file with one entry per user?
