That sounds interesting. Personally I would rather see Emacs re-implemented
using Common Lisp instead of Emacs Lisp.
The languages are very similar but it is their very similarity that trips me up
whenever I try to use Emacs Lisp.
OTOH, I don't think I could live without Emacs!
